Laboratory Information Systems
Streamline lab operations from sample to result
Laboratory Information System (LIS) connects your analyzers, manages workflows, and delivers results—all while handling the complexity of modern laboratory operations. Whether you’re running a single-site lab or coordinating multiple branch locations, LIS automates data flow and keeps processing efficient.
Managing complete laboratory workflow
Samples are tracked from collection through analysis to final reporting. The system connects directly to analyzers, pulls results automatically, applies quality controls, and routes verified results to ordering physicians and hospital information systems.
It adapts to your specific testing menu, analyzer setup, and reporting requirements without forcing you into a standardized workflow that doesn’t fit your operation.

Built on continuous development
LIS has been refined over more than two decades of use in production laboratory environments. The system incorporates lessons learned from connecting hundreds of analyzers, processing millions of samples, and adapting to changing regulatory requirements across multiple countries.
This isn’t a first-generation product. It’s a mature platform that handles edge cases, supports complex testing workflows, and integrates with both legacy systems and modern platforms.

Key capabilities
Wide analyzer connectivity
LIS integrates with a broad range of laboratory analyzers from major manufacturers. The system handles bidirectional communication—sending sample information to analyzers and retrieving results automatically. New analyzer models can be added as your lab upgrades equipment.
Centralized workflow management
Track samples from registration through testing to result verification. The system manages worklists, flags quality control issues, identifies samples that need retesting, and ensures that verified results reach the right destination.
Multi-site
coordination
Operate multiple branch locations with centralized data management. Remote collection points register samples that are processed at your main facility. Results are available across all sites immediately after verification.
Flexible
reporting
Generate reports that meet local regulatory requirements while remaining clear and actionable for clinicians. The system supports customizable report templates, reference ranges, interpretive comments, and graphical trending.
Sustainable
partnership
Visida Solutions is ready to commit to long-term partnerships that foster workforce capabilities and healthcare system resilience.
Who is it for?
LIS works for clinical laboratories of any size: hospital labs, independent diagnostic centers, specialty reference labs, and laboratory networks operating multiple sites. If your lab deals with diverse analyzer types, needs to coordinate across multiple locations, or must comply with specific local regulations, LIS provides the flexibility and connectivity to make it work.

Impact on operations
Laboratories using LIS process samples faster because manual data entry is eliminated. Error rates drop because results transfer directly from analyzers to reports without transcription. Staff focus on quality control and clinical interpretation rather than technical troubleshooting.
Remote locations get the same capabilities as the main facility. Clinicians receive results faster. Administrators get accurate data for billing and resource planning.
Implementation approach
Implementation approach
We assess your current analyzer inventory, workflow patterns, and integration requirements. The system is configured to connect with your specific analyzer models and external platforms.
Analyzer interface implementation
Implementation includes analyzer interface setup, workflow configuration, report template design, and staff training. We handle the technical details of analyzer communication protocols so your team can focus on validating that results flow correctly.
Support and maintenance
Support continues after go-live, covering analyzer connectivity issues, workflow adjustments, and system updates as regulations or requirements change.
You get
A laboratory that operates more efficiently
Analyzers communicate reliably
Results reach clinicians faster
Less time managing data, more time ensuring quality
System adapts
EUROLAB
Clinics in Kyiv, Ukraine
Challenge
Laboratories in Kyiv operated with multiple analyzers, fragmented workflows, and limited system integration. Manual data handling and distributed locations increased operational complexity, processing time, and the risk of data inconsistencies.
Approach
Between 2006 and 2010, the Medap Laboratory Information System (LIS) was implemented at Eurolab Medical Laboratory, Kyiv Tuberculosis Dispensary No. 1, and NeoLab Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory. The system was configured to support laboratory-specific workflows, analyzer integrations, centralized data management, and adaptation to local operational requirements.
Impact
The LIS enabled more structured laboratory workflows, reduced manual data handling, improved result traceability, and supported faster and more reliable diagnostic processes across private and public healthcare institutions.
